These large orders are killing me. :(

1 Mario done, working on another. This is 1 big order. I still need to make Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. -_________-

chaviwestwind: Hi! I've been crocheting stuffed animals and plushies in the past two years or so. I just discovered your amazing blog :) and I noticed you used pins to keep smaller pieces in place on the main body. I've never seen this done before (I usually just position by hand, hold it there and hope for the best hahaha) How do you make all the pieces stay? It doesn't look like pinning two pieces of fabric together, where the pin goes through to the back and then through to the front...

As soon as I’m done crocheting and stuffing the item Im working on, I attach the other parts with pins.

I simply just pin them in. If I were to just position them by hand, the parts would look a bit lopsided

I also work piece by piece. I don’t sew everything into place while there are pins everywhere, I’d be a human pin cushion if I did. haha

I love this pincushion! Chevron print is my favorite. :D

Dumb me didn’t write the pattern to Mario’s hat, so I had to start on a completely different one and I like it a lot better. :)
Top 2 pics are the updated hat.

I have to make 2 Marios and I totally didn’t write down the pattern for his cap. Ugh, I’m an Idiot.
